Vhee Riv’s “Vheenus” raises the vibration with a mix of reggae, pop, R&B, and hip hop featuring artists B.U.B., ZMIRA MIRA, and King Nu.
Delaware-born and Hawaii-raised, 28-year-old Vhee Riv is a recording artist currently residing in Las Vegas, NV. She has been releasing music since 2015 and continuing to pursue her dream career. She has musical collaborations with artists Mike Jones and Mishon. She has performed at Aloha Stadium, Blaisdell Arena, and Hard Rock LV Casino. In 2017, she was featured in Love and Hip Hop’s Coldest Winter Tour with BBOD and Troy Ave in D.C., Fla., Ga., Pa., Texas, and Va.
Aside from creating albums and singles, “Vheenus” is Vhee Riv’s very first EP! It is going to be released on all streaming platforms on Sept. 8, 2022. The artist’s revamped website, vheeriv.com, will be available for “Vheenus” merchandise and all other content.
Vhee Riv's inspiration from legends like Michael Jackson comes from her father’s influence, but she describes the EP to have “reggae, pop, R&B, [and] hip hop vibes.” There are eight songs and features from artists B.U.B.Z, MIRAMIRA, and King Nu. Especially since she grew up listening to B.U.B.Z in Hawaii, so she was ecstatic to have him in “Vheenus” as he responded to the viral challenge to get featured in the EP.
“Music is medicine, so it’s going to put more positive energy,” Vhee emphasizes. Although all the songs have a special place in Vhee’s heart, her favorite song on the EP is “Less Force, More Flow,” because the lyrics are an endless reminder to stay positive. She has been focused on reinforcing positivity throughout the day and creating healing frequencies to help her listeners grow.
Vhee continues, “Life’s a beach, but I am just reminding you guys to play on the sand and get away from the day-to-day things. Life is an experience. It’s not a job. It’s not all work,” as she explains the euphoric feel of the EP.
